This was my first time dining here and I enjoyed it. It's really nice and bougie on the inside and I love the open kitchen. It was really cool to see the chefs preparing our meals. Our waiter Keys was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He made some great recommendations. The shrimp and pork dumplings were the highlight for me! And I love show they put on for the cotton candy!

Meril was the best restaurant we ate at in our time at NoLa. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a NYE dinner here, and it was a blast. We had reservations and they seated us right away. The server seemingly remembered my boyfriend and gave top notch service. It's funny because we've literally never ever been here before lol. We had 2 servers working on our table. Both of them gave excellent service. This place has the best service out of any restaurant I've been to in a while. They replace plates and utensils after each course, much appreciated. They don't rush you out either. We initially ordered one appetizer at a time, starting with the Korean fried chicken wings. They smelled a little funny, but they were delicious. Next we ordered the meatballs, which were absolutely to die for. After that, we had two orders of the yellowfin tuna wraps, BOMB! Hence why we had to get two. For my main course, I ordered a pepperoni flatbread, amazing!!! Mwah chefs kiss. My bf ordered their daily gumbo. Mom ordered the ribeye and she thought the steak was excellent. It was a very big piece of meat so we were all able to have a piece. At the end, we didn't even ask for dessert and they brought out cotton candy with lights on it. Amazing! Honestly, what a nice surprise it was. The service, the food and the ambience were all on fleek. Restaurant was clean bathrooms were immaculate.

I am a huge fan of Emeril. Ever since he let me wear his chef's hat on my 10th birthday, the man can do no wrong. I was at the convention center for a meeting so we walked over for lunch. If you are looking for a dinner review, please look elsewhere. I will be back for dinner but for now, lunch is what you get. The restaurant, like everything Emeril opens, is beautiful with classy touches. The open kitchen concept is greatly appreciated as I like watching the well-choreographed moves in a well-managed kitchen. Since it was lunch we all got flatbreads. They were well made, and tasty, and the price was right. We were also in and out in about 30-40 minutes which makes this an even better choice at lunch. Not everyone can take two-hour martini lunches anymore! Service was friendly and attentive. If you want a great choice for lunch in the warehouse district, give Meril a try.

We had reservations to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and had reached the maximum amount of guests per table, but we had unexpected family joining in. Mackenzie, Ana, and Angie all went above and beyond to seat our group together in the middle of a busy holiday weekend. The food and ambiance were great, the turkey neck was so good (and I was NOT keen on trying it at first, haha.) The cotton candy birthday surprise was a fun change to a standard birthday cake and candle! We'll definitely be back! We were so hungry and there was so much going on with all the attendees that we forgot to take photos of our food, but here's a picture of my delicious coquito that I started off with. Cheers!

Love this place! First time coming and it's absolutely delicious. We got basically everything on the menu and didn't want one bad thing. My favorite were the pork and shrimp dumplings and the banana cream pie! The tuna, the turkey necks, the shrimp tacos! I mean it was all delicious!

The food here was so good and the hospitality from the staff was nothing short of amazing, we left there family! Sadiki (please excuse the spelling) was amazing and attentive, and can make a great cocktail! The crab pasta was so good, the deviled eggs were great and the bread pudding? I still dream about it. Thanks for everything! xo

A group of us sat down for a mid afternoon meal while in New Orleans for the Essence Festival. Beautiful spot with nice decor. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of small plates and shared. My faves that I tasted were the pineapple upside down cornbread, deviled eggs and the wings. The cocktails were good too. Some of the ladies had the appetizer gumbo and said it was delicious. The ribs had good flavor but weren't hot and were a little tough. I had the feeling that they were reheated from the day before. That along with some of the items not being hot enough is my chief complaint but over all I really enjoyed Meril. It has a good vibe and a good menu. I could try Meril again maybe at peak time as the menu has several items I'd love to try.
